Quick Easy Eggless Microwave Almond Mug Cake

I have been working a lot on improving my ‘Cake Making’ skills lately. Being a cake lover, I splurge on mug cakes often. This amazing eggless microwave cake recipe is worth sharing 🙂

Eggless Microwave Almond Mug Cake Recipe

Serves: 2

Time: 5 Minutes


All Purpose Flour/ Maida (1/2 Cup)

Powdered Sugar (4 tbsp)

Unsweetened Cocoa Powder (2 tbsp)

Baking Powder (1/2 tsp)

Milk (5 tbsp)

Cooking Oil (3 tbsp)

Almonds (4-5)



Step 1:

Mix all the dry ingredients well. Make sure there are no lumps.

Step 2:

Add the wet ingredient to the mixture of dry ingredient and mix well. (You can use a fork or a beater)

Step 3:

Pour the batter in a microwave safe mug and top it with chopped almonds. Give it a little twirl.

Step 4:

Microwave on medium heat for 2 minutes.

Note: To test if the cake is cooked completely, Insert a knife or a toothpick in the middle of the cake till the very bottom, if it comes out clean, the cake is cooked, else you might have to give a few extra seconds in the microwave.

  4. I never like microwave cake or cookie or anything and I always found that they are not quite bland for my taste.
