How I Multi-Mask my hair

Disclosure: This post is in collaboration with SaveMeFrom

I have been a big believer of layering skincare and multi-masking every now and then. The results have been visibly astonishing. But talking of hair, I have been a ‘alternate-day-shampoo-sometimes-conditioner‘ kinda girl. For the longest time, I haven’t had the courage of experimenting with haircare products and always wanted to play safe with what has been already working for me. I feared a wrong product would not only affect my hair texture but could cause hair loss and may eventually have long-term adverse effects. Though I had trust in DIYs and natural remedies for treating my frizzy, somewhat wavy hair, but the result would sometimes lead to oily-scalp and nourished tips or vice versa. If at all it did well and I had a great hair day, the next day, my hair would look flat and kinda oily.

I realized my scalp was oily and the length was lacking nourishment. I needed to address these concerns differently… hence multi-masking came to rescue.

Being introduced to Save Me From hair masks, I could sense it would work. What gravitated me the most was the fact that these masks are infused with goodness of fenugreek seeds which is a power ingredient for strong and shiny hair. The family of 6 variants can help combat the 6 major hair damage causes – hot tools, pollution, chemicals, aging, swear & sun and product overload.

Here’s how I like to use my set of Save Me From hair masks

MASK 1

My number 1 concern is frizzy hair starting from mid-length and reaching till the ends. This I believe has been a result of hot tools, hence Thermal Obsession Mask seemed to be the perfect starting point. I use this as an overnight mask once in 2 weeks for deep nourishment. I noticed drastically managed and shiny hair after the very first use.

MASK 2

After every hair wash, I like to maintain the shine and hydration in the length for which I use the Save Me From Sun + Sweat mask. I rub a pea size amount of product on my palms and while my hair are still damp, I run it along the length (mid-length to tips) avoiding the area close to the roots (remember, I have oily-ish scalp, too much moisture there is not what I need). I also make sure to not skip this step before blowdrying.

The best part, you can visibly notice the difference after the very first use!

MASK 3

I often tend to blow dry or straighten my hair, I use hot tools after I have applied my second mask which is Save Me From Sweat + Sun. As a finishing touch, I use a tiny bit of the Pollution Assault Mask to tame flyaways.

It’s lightweight texture doesn’t make my hair flat or greasy!

MASK 4

Last but not the least, who doesn’t like a good DETOX? The Product Overload Mask contains clay which helps clean and detoxify oily scalp + greasy hair. This is a match made in heaven for my hair!

I use this once a week for 30 minutes before shampooing my hair.

I hope you enjoyed my journey of multi-masking and found it useful. Multi-masking has greatly helped combat my hair concerns and all I am left with is healthy, shiny and manageable hair!
