If you have been following my blogs for a while, you would already know that my comfort zone lies in softer neutral looks. Since past couple of months, I have been quite experimental and letting the old habits break. I had so much fun trying my hand on cut crease, halo eye makeup looks and a super bold lip was the next thing on the list. Finally, after the longest time of shying away from dark lipsticks, I finally tested the boldest lip shade in my collection.
Winter Makeup Tutorial
When in doubt, I like to opt for simple makeup looks. A simple glowy makeup can be blindly chosen for any occasion. It’s that one look which is just so versatile and suits everyone. I think especially during winters, glowy skin looks very refreshing. To make this a bit exciting, I used a beautiful unicorn eyeshadow form the Colorpop Golden State of Mind eyeshadow palette. You can very well wear this look to work or college… The tutorial below will guide you step by step.
Such a thrilling day it is… this very same day 3 years back, I finally gave blogging a kick start. Yes! Today Makeupmagique turns 3!! I never thought of being a blogger, it’s so much fun to see how things unfold and how the universe helps you find your way. Over this period of time, I have experienced so many emotions… there have been so many disappointments and setbacks but at the same time a lot of fun, joy, and vigor. My journey so far as a blogger has definitely been a roller coaster ride and I am more than happy to share it with you all.
So many of you requested a Step-by-Step tutorial on how to apply makeup. I was thrilled and excited to share a video for the same. Not every one of us is comfortable wearing makeup, I get so many questions on primer… foundation… eyeshadows… etc.. etc.. I tried my best to make this video simple and easy for every beginner to learn how to apply makeup.
How to apply makeup? Tutorial for Beginners
Christmas time is so much fun… It reminds me of my childhood days and how thrilled I used to be the entire month! There are so many beautiful memories associated with December!! Coming back to grown-up days, the fondness for this month remains the same… Here are 3 looks you can consider wearing to a Christmas party.
I was at the grand opening of Club Clio a few weeks back, they had opened their new store in New York, where I received some of their amazing makeup and skincare products. For those who are not familiar, Clio is a Korean makeup and skincare brand. I had never tried their products before until now and I am highly impressed by both, their quality and the packaging. The eyeshadows, in general, are super pigmented, they have a huge variety of shades as well as texture and the lipsticks! OMG! such amazing texture that I am falling short of words… The quality, packaging… everything is absolutely up to the mark. I will be sharing dedicated blogs very soon.
So I did this Indian Wedding Makeup look using some of their products, hope you enjoy the video.
I got my hand on the new Colourpop eyeshadow palette ‘Golden State of Mind’ a few week back. I was on a routine stroll to Sephora when I saw Colour pop sitting there!!… My current favorite brand at Sephora!! what a delight it was… I spent one good hour browsing through each and every item from their holiday collection and decided to bring home this beauty. The fun fact is, I had very limited metallic eyeshadows and this palette just seemed right to fill the void. There are so many looks I can think of using this, to start with here is a softy cut crease look for the upcoming holiday season. The shadow pigmentation is really good. It works best with fingers, I tried making it work with MAC Fix+ and a flat eyeshadow brush, but it’s way better with fingers alone.
I love creating new looks, my this month’s IPSY bag bought in such amazing products and I enjoyed try them all out… the result of which is this look. It’s a perfect holiday makeup look, moreover, if you don’t want to go in for a classic red lip makeup this Christmas, you might as well consider this.
So we have stepped in the second last month of the year… 2017 is almost getting over! It’s time to gear up for the wedding season. I am sure we all have some or the other wedding to attend, and that’s so much fun. I have created this wedding makeup look and will be coming up with many more options, so even if this isn’t the kind of look you’d like to go for, there will be more coming your way.
This look comprises of glitter halo eye makeup which is quite dramatic and the colour scheme is such that it would match almost every outfit. The tutorial below will help you step-by-step.

I have never loved fall as much as I am loving it this time… In fact, more than the season, I am loving the beautiful colour scheme. Before this passes by, here is another makeup look. I did create a Fall Makeup Look before as well, that one was a bit bolder and this one is more neutral. We are soon entering November, so this could be the last fall makeup. Also, I tried some new products which were sent to me by Bronx Colors and shared my experience in the tutorial below.
