Floral prints can be enjoyed the most during summers. I have been having a lot of fun with KIKO Nail Polishes. The shades are superb. If you are following me on Instagram, you can have a look at the swatches. Here is a simple nail art tutorial which I created using Born Pretty Nail Stamping Kit.
This isn’t the first time I am doing galaxy nails… These look so amazing that I couldn’t stop myself from repeating. This time of course I made a tutorial for you all unlike the last time. You can see my first attempt at galaxy nails HERE, this one is of a different color scheme.
KIKO MILANO completed their 20 years of beauty in 2017, that is such a big milestone to achieve! It launched in India in 2016 and is spreading globally. I got gorgeous lipsticks and nail polishes from KIKO, which are worth sharing. I haven’t tried any of their products till now, extremely excited to try these on. I will be sharing a review soon.
Feels like I am doing a nail art tutorial after ages. Last few weeks I was having fun trying out various nail polishes sent to me by a few companies. I will be sharing a review soon. Lately I have been enjoying glittery nails way more than usual. Here is a tutorial for peach and gold jewel nails.
If you are a glitter lover like me, you would definitely love to try this nail art. I had done this before, much before I started my YouTube channel, I thought of redoing it so that I could share the tutorial with you all, and also because I needed a heavy dose of glitter 🙂 If you are a beginner, you might face difficulty doing nails with the opposite hand, you might as well do the stained glass art on just one nail of each hand and paint the rest of the nails with a plain polish.
Spring has officially arrived and I can’t wait to wear all the bright spring shades, starting with the nails, currently I have these pretty peppy floral nails on. I truly loved the deep purple, the shade alone itself is too pretty.

So we are very close to the festival of colors and I though it would be the right time to bring on some fun colors on to my nails too 🙂 By the way, did you know that nail polish can protect your nails from holi colors. This nail art would be a cool way of doing so.
For those days when you want to indulge in some self pampering without sending to much time on your nails, here is what you can opt for!! This super quick and easy nail art can be done in no time and can be played around with various color combinations. I loved mint blue and gold. You can try and get creative with other combinations 🙂
NewU has been my new fascination lately and I so love <3 exploring their store! My half empty nail polish bottles were poking me for a while and I knew it was time to checkout some new ones! (P.S: By “checkout” I mean BUY, it’s just a guilt free way of presenting my intention 😛 )
I visited their store near karvachauth (that time of the year when your husband cannot say NO to your shopping, even if he wants to :P). Time was in my favor and I took advantage AND picked 8 of their nail polishes… there is a long story behind why and how it all happened… if you have the time read on, else you can jump in the review.
The Story behind NewU Nail Polish Haul
It was karwachauth time and I had decided my outfit, makeup, nail art etc.. etc.. for the day. I was so excited to do a traditional, red glittery nail art… In hunt of a RED GLITTERY top coat, I headed the mall. I did come across a few reds but didn’t find the perfect red.. some were too bright.. some were too dull… some weren’t just glitter enough to blind everyone… BUT… I didn’t come back home empty handed, the search introduced me to 8 gorgeous glitterryyyyy <3 nail polishes that refused to stay back. The pre decided nail art was obviously cancelled and so was the other detailing.
I picked up the following shades from their glitterati collection
NewU Nail Polish Review
These polishes come in a sleek, usual glass bottle. The brush is not very impressive, it’s slightly thin and doesn’t help much in perfect application. Even the bristles are slightly rough.
Wearability and Quality
The polishes stay comfortably for about 5-7 days after which it starts to chip off from the ends. The shades aren’t super quick to dry. The texture for pixie pink was rough and disappointing, even Autum glow was not very smooth on application, rest of the polishes were fine.
Glitter – INR 75/-
Galaxy – INR 75/-
Silver Chrome – INR 75/-
Icy Cool – INR 75/-
Pixie Pink – INR 75/-
Rose Quartz – INR 75/-
Autum Glow – INR 75/-
Pink Angel – INR 125/-
Why it couldn’t make 5/5?
These polishes take slightly longer to dry
Some of the shades give a rough and not so impressive finish
