When it comes to skincare, I do understand the importance of it but I like to keep it short and effective. Long elaborated skincare routine can be a bit laborious at times. I like my skincare products to be gentle and effective. Since I have combinational skin, I have to be overparticular about what goes on it because a wrong choice can be miserable! Derma E was generous enough to send me their Anti-Wrinkle Cleanser and Scrub, It’s been a while since I started using these… Read on to know how they turned out for me…

Lately, I have been indulging in skin care products. I am not really a skincare junkie, but I can see myself moving in that direction. The first thing I notice in my skin condition during the change of season is acne and breakouts. I started my morning and night skincare routine with Skin Actives to address this issue. Read on to know what I feel about the Skin Actives acne clearing range.

These lipsticks took me back in time, as a kid, I remember seeing green lipsticks which would turn pink on applying, also there used to be pretty clear glosses that would change color when applied. Back then, it used to be quite exciting to see the transition happening, well it’s still the same. MOODmatcher lipsticks are somewhat on the same lines, only better.
I was at the grand opening of Club Clio a few weeks back, they had opened their new store in New York, where I received some of their amazing makeup and skincare products. For those who are not familiar, Clio is a Korean makeup and skincare brand. I had never tried their products before until now and I am highly impressed by both, their quality and the packaging. The eyeshadows, in general, are super pigmented, they have a huge variety of shades as well as texture and the lipsticks! OMG! such amazing texture that I am falling short of words… The quality, packaging… everything is absolutely up to the mark. I will be sharing dedicated blogs very soon.
So I did this Indian Wedding Makeup look using some of their products, hope you enjoy the video.

I was recently sent a bundle of soapbox products which in my opinion makes the best gift this holiday season, and I say so because of various reasons. For those who are not familiar, I insist, you to go and read about them as they not only offer great quality products to their customers but also have a great cause behind their business… for every product sold, a bar of soap is donated to a person in need! When I first learned about this, I was definitely blown away by the noble cause. I tried some of their products before as well and my overall experience was just fantastic! You can read the detailed review HERE.
If asked about my must have winter skin care product, It’s definitely The Body Shop, body butter. My very first purchase from the brand was back in 2008 and it was the Moroccan Rose body butter. Now if you remember me expressing my love for rose scented products every now and then, this is where the love story started. And needless to say, the product became my favorite. Unfortunately, The love story lasted only till the contents in the tub! Moroccan Rose body butter was discontinued! The reason for me narrating my past affair is because the lost love is back, no I don’t mean the discontinued variant, but some exciting new seasonal flavors and a close resemblance to Moroccan Rose body butter.

My nails have rarely been bare since the time I discovered my love for nail polishes, which was in 2007…. It’s been 10 years and my love for painted nails has only grown. Like skin, nails too need care, attention, and nourishment to be healthy and strong. Back to back manicures have definitely had adverse effects on my nails but I make sure to follow my nail care rituals on a regular basis. I was lately introduced to this nail care duo from Skin Actives which comprises of nail serum and oil. It claims to nourish and strengthen nails… does it work? Read on to know more!
I got my hand on the new Colourpop eyeshadow palette ‘Golden State of Mind’ a few week back. I was on a routine stroll to Sephora when I saw Colour pop sitting there!!… My current favorite brand at Sephora!! what a delight it was… I spent one good hour browsing through each and every item from their holiday collection and decided to bring home this beauty. The fun fact is, I had very limited metallic eyeshadows and this palette just seemed right to fill the void. There are so many looks I can think of using this, to start with here is a softy cut crease look for the upcoming holiday season. The shadow pigmentation is really good. It works best with fingers, I tried making it work with MAC Fix+ and a flat eyeshadow brush, but it’s way better with fingers alone.
I love creating new looks, my this month’s IPSY bag bought in such amazing products and I enjoyed try them all out… the result of which is this look. It’s a perfect holiday makeup look, moreover, if you don’t want to go in for a classic red lip makeup this Christmas, you might as well consider this.
