I couldn’t hold myself back from trying spring nails already!! Although the weather here in New York is still very cold (6-8°C), I have already started to enjoy sunny days and cherry blossoms through my nails. Florals, any day is my favorite… if you too enjoy them, here are 3 looks to try 😀
I have recently developed a fondness for skincare and trust me it’s fun! I have been diligently following my morning and evening skincare routines for a few months now and I can actually see the good it has done. Not only the visible effects, but the whole idea of indulging in self-pampering sessions like skincare, manicure, hair care brings in a huge amount of feel-good factor. Some of the products have made it to my top skincare favorites and I definitely had to share them with you all.
Taking a short break from the everyday makeup looks I am posting these days, but I promise to get back to it soon. Today’s post is a subtle party makeup comprising of a blingy silver eye look paired with soft pink. Pink and silver are used a lot in party outfits especially wedding outfits, you can wear this look as a wedding guest or maybe an evening outing.
Not every day is a bold makeup day… bright lipsticks, smokey eye makeup could be your all-time favorites but aren’t really practical for an everyday. On a daily basis, for work or college, a minimal makeup look is the most wearable and the fact that it’s done in no time makes it even better! Here is how I like to do my everyday minimal makeup, using only 4 products. The tutorial below will guide you step by step.
Through an IG poll last week, I asked if you guys would like to see party makeup or everyday makeup, and so many of you opted for everyday makeup looks!! Sure thing!! This week’s blogs and tutorials are keeping in mind the requests I get from you all, lots of casual, quick and PRACTICAL everyday looks coming your way!
To start with, I am sharing some of the tips that can be really useful for your everyday makeup routine.
Drugstore products will always be my favorite!! I have a close relationship with Maybelline, for it was the first brand I started using when I had put my initial steps in the beauty world. It’s affordability and good quality never seizes to impress me! I got my hands on the new CITY KITS face and cheek palette in URBAN LIGHT, have been using it for a week now and here is what I think!
Nothing can be as annoying as those eyeshadow fallouts!! Doing your makeup neatly is as important as choosing the right products, color combination, and techniques. Especially if you are choosing a bold eye makeup look, you definitely need to pay special attention to making it neat and clean. Here are some simple tips that work really well for me and I personally use every time.
I am so obsessed with eyeshadows these days! Eyeshadow palettes never seize to mesmerize me and how badly I wish to grab every good palette I come across. Not only pressed eyeshadows, but even liquid and cream ones. When I first got a chance to try liquid eyeshadows, I knew they are going to be super useful and handy for the fact, they are quick and easy to apply and last much longer than usual eyeshadows.
Disclosure: This post is in collaboration with Demeter Fragrances, the products were sent to me by the brand, my thoughts on them are absolutely genuine and true.
Rose scents have been my favorite for the longest time. I am always thrilled to try rose scented products. My perfect pick for a scent would be something mild and gentle, like a fresh bouquet of pink roses, nothing over empowering but definitely something that would linger on for a long time. Demeter brings a huge variety of fragrances and it was irresistible to try two of their rose variants, Bulgarian Rose and Pruning Shears.
A good wedding or party makeup is largely dependent on how you do your eyes. Eye makeup surely plays a very important role in stepping up your overall look so it’s a good idea to practice doing your makeup before a special event, that will also give you a better idea as to what shades work best for you. Back in 2013 when I was getting married and decided to do my own engagement makeup, I used to practice and play around with different shades and textures almost every day and that surely helped me figure out what would look the best.
