I got my hand on the new Colourpop eyeshadow palette ‘Golden State of Mind’ a few week back. I was on a routine stroll to Sephora when I saw Colour pop sitting there!!… My current favorite brand at Sephora!! what a delight it was… I spent one good hour browsing through each and every item from their holiday collection and decided to bring home this beauty. The fun fact is, I had very limited metallic eyeshadows and this palette just seemed right to fill the void. There are so many looks I can think of using this, to start with here is a softy cut crease look for the upcoming holiday season. The shadow pigmentation is really good. It works best with fingers, I tried making it work with MAC Fix+ and a flat eyeshadow brush, but it’s way better with fingers alone.
Disclaimer: This post is in collaboration with Bronx Colors, The products were sent to me by the brand but my thoughts on them are absolutely genuine and true.
I have never loved fall as much as I am loving it this time… In fact, more than the season, I am loving the beautiful colour scheme. Before this passes by, here is another makeup look. I did create a Fall Makeup Look before as well, that one was a bit bolder and this one is more neutral. We are soon entering November, so this could be the last fall makeup. Also, I tried some new products which were sent to me by Bronx Colors and shared my experience in the tutorial below.
Do you also feel the happy vibes in the air as soon as these last few months of the year begin? Or is it just me?! With so many festivals and weddings coming up, I am all thrilled to share with you all some makeup looks which are created keeping in mind the mood.
Navratri and Durga Puja coming up next week, here is a look which I loved creating with some bold colors such as orange and green and even some bling. The look is quite edgy at the same time can be comfortably worn during day functions.
Outdoor day makeup can sometimes fall flat if you pick the wrong products… Sometimes the foundation oxidizes and turns orangey, sometimes the eyeshadow is blinding or the highlighter can make you look like a bulb! The key is to keep it soft and simple by using softer shades and lesser shimmer.
A reverse smokey eye look is quite a trend for college goers, It is the most opted look for kohl lovers. It gives great definition to the eyes and looks amazing on everybody. The fun part about this look is that it is extremely versatile, can be worn for almost any occasion and would match most of your outfits. Here is how I achieve the look using 3 products only.
Prom makeup is the most requested tutorial these days. I wanted to do something fresh, glowy and ethereal. The look comprises of a lot of pinks and peaches which is not only perfect for the occasion but also works for almost every dress and is ideal for all skin tones. To add in a dash of fanciness, I used metallic shimmery eye-shadow and lots of highlighter. Apart from that you can also add in a pair of false lashes to step up the look.
