Summers! here they come! I have always enjoyed summers more than winters, somehow I feel dressing up is more interesting in summers compared to winters, most of my friends believe in the contrary though… This summer, I am definitely wearing more warm tone makeup looks, quite facinated by the peaches and corals these days. Here is my first look for the season. Do checkout the tutorial for a step-to-step guide on how I acheved this look.
Not every day is a bold makeup day… bright lipsticks, smokey eye makeup could be your all-time favorites but aren’t really practical for an everyday. On a daily basis, for work or college, a minimal makeup look is the most wearable and the fact that it’s done in no time makes it even better! Here is how I like to do my everyday minimal makeup, using only 4 products. The tutorial below will guide you step by step.
I am so obsessed with eyeshadows these days! Eyeshadow palettes never seize to mesmerize me and how badly I wish to grab every good palette I come across. Not only pressed eyeshadows, but even liquid and cream ones. When I first got a chance to try liquid eyeshadows, I knew they are going to be super useful and handy for the fact, they are quick and easy to apply and last much longer than usual eyeshadows.
Metallic eyeshadows have become my latest obsession! I can’t stop myself from reaching out for every gorgeous blinding eyeshadow that comes my way… and why not! A statement eye look is such an effortless way to add glamour and nothing as good as a striking metallic eye look. The look today is blingy metallic silver eye makeup paired with berry lips. I wanted the eyeshadow to speak for itself so decided to skip on the falsies and eyeliner. Silver is such a universal shade… it can be a perfect match with almost every lip shade. I like to team it up with the family of pinks and plums.
Last week I posted a video on YouTube featuring a makeup look with caramel and deep blue combination. I have been really fond of blue eyeliners since the longest time and I wanted to try a look especially keeping in mind the Valentines day. With lots of pink and red makeup looks flooding the internet, I wanted to choose a different theme just in case you have already had an overdose of these two shades… not that I detest a soft romantic pink makeup look or a bold red statement look, I just wanted to give other colors a chance on a date night.
Disclosure: This post is in collaboration with Kokie Cosmetics, the products were sent to me by the brand but the review is absolutely genuine and true.
I am so thrilled and excited to share some really exciting looks to try this Valentines Day, my very first look is a soft smokey eye makeup paired with a nude lip. In this look, I tried some new products from Kokie Cosmetics and my detailed review of each product is listed down below.
If you have been following my blogs for a while, you would already know that my comfort zone lies in softer neutral looks. Since past couple of months, I have been quite experimental and letting the old habits break. I had so much fun trying my hand on cut crease, halo eye makeup looks and a super bold lip was the next thing on the list. Finally, after the longest time of shying away from dark lipsticks, I finally tested the boldest lip shade in my collection.
Winter Makeup Tutorial
When in doubt, I like to opt for simple makeup looks. A simple glowy makeup can be blindly chosen for any occasion. It’s that one look which is just so versatile and suits everyone. I think especially during winters, glowy skin looks very refreshing. To make this a bit exciting, I used a beautiful unicorn eyeshadow form the Colorpop Golden State of Mind eyeshadow palette. You can very well wear this look to work or college… The tutorial below will guide you step by step.
So many of you requested a Step-by-Step tutorial on how to apply makeup. I was thrilled and excited to share a video for the same. Not every one of us is comfortable wearing makeup, I get so many questions on primer… foundation… eyeshadows… etc.. etc.. I tried my best to make this video simple and easy for every beginner to learn how to apply makeup.
How to apply makeup? Tutorial for Beginners
I got my hand on the new Colourpop eyeshadow palette ‘Golden State of Mind’ a few week back. I was on a routine stroll to Sephora when I saw Colour pop sitting there!!… My current favorite brand at Sephora!! what a delight it was… I spent one good hour browsing through each and every item from their holiday collection and decided to bring home this beauty. The fun fact is, I had very limited metallic eyeshadows and this palette just seemed right to fill the void. There are so many looks I can think of using this, to start with here is a softy cut crease look for the upcoming holiday season. The shadow pigmentation is really good. It works best with fingers, I tried making it work with MAC Fix+ and a flat eyeshadow brush, but it’s way better with fingers alone.
