I have grown up hearing all good things about coconut! Coconut oil is something that I can pick blindly for my hair. Not only hair, it’s a miracle ingredient for the skin as well. I got a chance to try some of the products from CleanCoconut, looking at the ingredients and upon reading about them, at once I knew they were safe and could be trusted. I have been using these since two weeks now and here is what I think.
For most of us, summers are not a very happy time for our skin. The heat and the humidity cause breakouts and sometimes even skin irritation. Here are a few products that I like to keep handy for my summer skin care routine. These work really well for my combination skin.
1. Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water
Micellar Water is my favourite skin care product ever since I have got my hands on it. It is a superb skin cleanser, which not only removes makeup completely but also takes away all the dirt and oil, and at the same time moisturizes the skin. I like to use it in various ways, as a makeup remover, during bed time if I am feeling lazy to perform the ideal skin cleansing routine, as soon as I wake up in the morning… to get rid of any oil on my face and also after a session at the gym. All you need to do is, pour some micellar water over a cotton ball and apply it all over your face to wipe off any dirt and oil. No need to rinse or apply moisturizer afterwords.
2. Aloe Vera Gel
Aloe Vera gel is a wonder product, I like to use it as a moisturizer on a daily basis. It helps fight acne and works wonders on a sun burn. It leaves the skin hydrated without making it sticky or oily. If you have dry skin, you can apply moisturizer over aloe vera gel or maybe mix them together.
3. Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Sunscreen
A sunscreen is a must! I like to use the neutrogena ultra sheer Dry Touch sunscreen which has SPF 45 and feels really comfortable on the skin. Also, this works really well under makeup as well. Make sure to wear a sunscreen every time you step out during the day. Your skin will thank you for it!
4. Mud Masks
I like to use mud masks during summers, They help absorb excess oil and leaves the skin matte and fresh. Also these are great if you suffer from acne issues. I like to use these once or twice a week. My current favourites are Global Beauty Care Charcoal & Dead Sea mud masks.
